That's right- something exciting is coming to downtown Amherst!
Doc Watson's Market, located in the old Amherst Party Shop building, will offer a fresh market, healthy and convenient grab-and-go foods, and more!
We're still in the planning phase, but construction is underway! We're hoping to open in April or May of 2022.
It's our dream to be able to offer healthy fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, meats, eggs, salads, soups, smoothies, and more, conveniently located in downtown. Residents in the downtown area will be able to walk, and nearby communities will have access by car or bike.
We will be partnering with local farmers, artisans, and chefs to bring you local sustainably-grown or certified Organic food.
